AmnioQuick DUO+

It is used in the diagnosis of premature rupture of fetal membranes (PROM) using biomarkers Insulin Growth Factor Binding Protein-1 (IGFBP-1) and Alfa Feto Protein (AFP) from vaginal fluid swab.

Usage timings: From 24 weeks of pregnancy to the complete gestation period.

IGFBP-1: Biomarker related to premature rupture of fetal membranes.

AFP: Biomarker related to genetic abnormality.

Parameters:

Sensitivity: 97.9%

Specificity: 97.6%

Positive Predictive Value: 99.5%

Negative Predictive Value: 91.1%

Interpretation:

C – Control line.

B – Insulin grwoth factor binding protein.

A – Alpha fetoprotein

Note:

If Only C is illuminated with purple/pink: it is Negative.

If C, B & A (or) C & B (or) C & A are illuminated with purple/pink: it is Positive.

If Only C is not illuminated with purple/pink: it is Invalid.
