Perfusionist
Job Description:
As a perfusionist you will be held responsible for operating “Life Port Kidney Transporter”- A device used for continuous pulsatile perfusion cadaveric kidney while in transport.
“CARDIOsmart” is a medical device designed to provide extra corporeal filtration for patients with congestive heart failure (CHF)
“FLEXIPER” is a stand-alone medical device designed for performing chemo-hyperthermic procedures
Responsibilities:
Setting up, operating, and maintaining the device and ability to demonstrate precise attention to detail when operating the device
Demonstrate & provide hands-on training to the medical fraternity
Perform pre-operative, intra-operative and post-operative assignments of equipment
Develop and deliver training programs on device and communicate effectively with surgeons, anaesthesiologist and other medical professionals
Organize and lead CME sessions
Maintain comprehensive training materials, manuals, and presentations
Respond to emergency situations involving circulatory, perfusion support & make a quick decision.
Willingness to complete continuing education courses and learn about new equipment and technologies that pertain to your field
Efficient time-management skills to ensure all duties are met on a daily basis
Flexible to travel upon the requirement
